4-Week Summer Strength & Conditioning Program ยท 2026
Your athletes completed a 4-week Summer Strength & Conditioning program at Cap's Sports Performance. Despite the short timeframe, the results below speak for themselves.
Every athlete was tested in Week 1 (baseline) and Week 4 (final) on the same three standardized measures: vertical jump, sprint, and 5-10-5 agility. The improvements you see below represent real, measurable athletic gains made in 4 weeks of focused training โ not months, not a full off-season. Four weeks.

All athletes were tested twice โ once at the beginning of the program (Week 1) and once at the end (Week 4). Tests were standardized and consistent across both sessions to ensure accurate comparison.
Vertical Jump
Athletes performed a standing vertical jump using a Vertec or reach-and-touch method. Standing reach was recorded first, then peak jump height. Net vertical (peak minus standing reach) is reported. Athletes received 2โ3 attempts and the best result was recorded.
Sprint (9 or 10 Yards)
Athletes sprinted from a two-point stance. Older/more advanced athletes ran 10 yards; younger athletes ran 9 yards. Times were recorded using a laser timer. Athletes received 2 attempts and the best time was recorded. Distances were kept consistent between pre and post for each athlete.
5-10-5 Agility Shuttle
Athletes started in an athletic stance at the center cone. They sprinted 5 yards to the right, touched the line, sprinted 10 yards to the left, touched the line, then sprinted 5 yards back through the starting cone. Total time was recorded using a laser timer. Athletes received 2 attempts and the best time was recorded.
